Discover a series of large scale archival photographs installed in the exact locations where they were originally taken, revealing moments from the park’s past layered against the landscape you see today. As you wander through the grounds, you’ll uncover glimpses of changing fashions, lost views, historic events and everyday life across the decades creating a “then and now” experience that brings Gunnersbury’s history to life. Visitors can stumble across the photographs as part of their own exploration of the park, or pick up a free trail map from reception to follow all eight exhibition points and complete the full journey through time.
