Woven through Robert Adam’s neoclassical interiors, this vivid display showcases highlights from Karun Thakar’s renowned global textile collection. Intricately-embroidered Punjabi wedding shawls, baghs and phulkaris bring bursts of colour and craft into the house. Made by young women in the undivided Punjab for ceremonial use, the textiles offer a powerful new cultural presence within a property shaped by global trade, craftsmanship and the legacy of the East India Company.
